"The name KEOGA comes from the film Mohawk. A line in the film stood out to me. Something about “in order for a man to become an artist, he must first become a man.” So, I decided to try it on and run with it, after all I had performed as a Mohawk for Devil's Claw, an art show in collaboration with John Farmer, Brooke Whyrick, Adam Lynskey and B.C.Gilbert. The way I figured, KEOGA could become a type of "BRAND" or "LABEL" that could help me to catalog and share my work with others." -R.A.Bates
